Social Media Management Services

We plan, create, publish and respond across the platforms your audience actually uses — building the following and content system that paid ads later convert, not just filling a calendar with posts.

Which platform actually fits your audience

Social media management is the ongoing work of creating, publishing, and responding across the channels your customers use — distinct from paid social advertising, which buys reach rather than building it organically. The two work best together: organic builds the audience and content library that ads later amplify and retarget.

No reliable public 2026 engagement figure

LinkedIn wasn't covered in this year's Quid/Rival IQ benchmark report, and we didn't find another source we trusted enough to publish a number. What's not in doubt: it's still the default platform for B2B credibility, recruiting and decision-maker reach.

0.21% median engagement, new to the benchmark

YouTube entered the Quid/Rival IQ benchmark for the first time this year. Early data shows a solid mid-tier engagement rate — the platform rewards depth and repeat viewing more than any other channel here.

X doubled its engagement rate YoY

X's engagement rate doubled year-over-year after several years of decline — still small in absolute terms, but the first real sign of life. Facebook stays relevant mainly for community groups, customer service and an older demographic.

Where accounts stall

Where social media accounts actually stall

Four patterns we see when we take over management of an underperforming account.

01

Posting more isn't the same as engaging more

Brands post on Instagram almost twice as often as on TikTok — roughly 3.7 times a week versus 2.0 — yet TikTok's engagement rate is nearly seven times higher. Frequency isn't the lever; format fit and content quality are.

The trap: chasing a daily-posting quota to "stay visible" while engagement quietly declines, because more low-effort content trains the algorithm to show your account to fewer people, not more.

02

One piece of content, six platforms, zero adaptation

A vertical TikTok video cross-posted to Instagram with a watermark, or a LinkedIn-length caption pasted into an X post, reads as an afterthought because it is one. Each platform's algorithm and audience expect native formatting — this is one reason Instagram's own numbers keep sliding while native-first platforms hold up better.

03

Declining organic reach means the relationship happens in the replies now

With Instagram engagement down roughly 17% year over year, fewer followers see any given post in their feed at all. What still reaches people reliably is a reply to their comment or a response to their DM — the interactions that used to be a bonus are increasingly where the actual relationship-building happens.

The trap: treating comments and DMs as an afterthought handled "when someone gets time," rather than as the highest-leverage activity left on a platform with shrinking organic reach.

04

No plan for what happens after someone actually engages

A comment or DM that sits unanswered for days does two things: it signals to that person their message doesn't matter, and it teaches the platform your account isn't worth showing to people who might engage with it. Real community management — timely replies, review responses, DM follow-up — is what makes the content worth publishing in the first place.

01 — One or two platforms, done properly

Content Foundation

A content calendar, creation and publishing for the one or two platforms that actually fit your audience.

Timeline2–3 weeks setup

The starting point for most businesses: pick the platform (or two) from the picks above that fits your audience, build a content system around it, and publish consistently with native-format content rather than cross-posted afterthoughts.

What you get

A content calendar built around clear content pillars, monthly content creation (copy, graphic design, short-form video edits) for one to two platforms, scheduled publishing, and basic analytics reporting.

What it's not

Not active community management (comment and DM replies) or paid promotion — see Content + Community if you need the response side covered too.

Best for: businesses starting their first proper content program, or replacing sporadic, ad-hoc posting with a real system on the one or two platforms that matter most.

02 — Content plus the response side

Content + Community Management

Everything in Foundation, plus active comment, DM and review management — the part organic reach depends on most.

TimelineOngoing, monthly

As organic reach declines across most platforms, the comments and DMs a post generates matter more than the post's initial reach. This tier adds the community management work that keeps engaged followers engaged, and turns a comment into a conversation rather than letting it go unanswered.

What you get

Everything in Content Foundation, plus daily comment and DM monitoring and response, review management on platforms that support it, and a monthly report tied to engagement quality, not just follower count.

What it's not

Not a multi-platform program — this tier covers the one or two platforms already in your Foundation scope, in depth, rather than expanding to more channels.

Best for: accounts already publishing consistently but losing engaged followers to unanswered comments and DMs, or businesses whose customers expect a fast reply on social.

03 — Every platform that earns its place

Full Multi-Platform Program

Three-plus platforms, video production, and a content library built to feed paid social too.

Timeline3-month minimum

For businesses ready to run always-on organic across the platforms relevant to their funnel — content, community management, and video production working together, with the resulting content library feeding paid social campaigns instead of starting from a blank slate every time.

What you get

Everything in Content + Community, expanded across three or more platforms, video production for TikTok, Reels and YouTube, UGC and creator coordination where relevant, and a content library organized so paid social can pull proven organic performers into ad creative.

What it's not

Not a fit for a business still validating its first platform — start with Foundation and graduate here once the fundamentals are proven.

Best for: established brands with the budget for always-on organic across multiple platforms, especially ones already running or planning paid social advertising that would benefit from a shared content pipeline.

How we work

From audit to community management

The same six steps whether it's one platform or a full program.

  1. Platform & content audit. We review what's currently working, what isn't, and which platforms actually fit your audience — see the platform picks above.
  2. Content calendar & pillars. A defined set of recurring content themes mapped to a realistic publishing cadence, not an arbitrary daily quota.
  3. Content creation. Copy, graphic design and video, built natively for each platform rather than cross-posted with someone else's aspect ratio and watermark.
  4. Publishing & scheduling. Consistent posting at the times your audience is actually active, tracked against the platform's own engagement patterns.
  5. Community management. Comments, DMs and reviews monitored and answered promptly — the highest-leverage activity on platforms with declining organic reach.
  6. Reporting & iteration. A monthly report tied to engagement quality and audience growth, with content adjusted based on what's actually performing.
Transparency

How we measure — and what we won't claim

Organic social attracts inflated promises. Here's where we stand.

  • The numbers on this page come from one source with a stated, transparent methodology — Quid/Rival IQ's 2026 benchmark report — not a blend of providers who define "engagement" differently. When we checked other 2026 reports against each other, the same platform's engagement rate varied by 10 to 60 times depending on the source, which told us most of that variance is a methodology problem, not a real signal.
  • We don't guarantee a specific engagement rate or follower growth before seeing your industry, starting point and platform mix. Anyone who quotes a growth number before a scoping call is guessing.
  • We won't recommend every platform for every client. Quora, Tumblr and Reddit management still technically exist as services, but for most SMB budgets in 2026 they're a distraction from the platforms in the comparison table above.
  • TikTok content isn't produced for India-targeted audiences. The platform has been unavailable in India since June 2020. We can plan and produce TikTok content for clients whose audience is outside India.
  • Organic and paid social work together, not as substitutes. A strong organic content library makes paid social advertising cheaper and more effective, and a paid budget can't fix an account with no engaged following behind it. We'll tell you honestly which one needs attention first.
Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is social media management?

It's the ongoing work of creating, publishing and responding to content across social platforms to build brand awareness, engagement and community — distinct from paid social advertising, which buys reach through the ad auction rather than building it through content and community over time.

Which social media platform should my business be on?

It depends on your audience and content strengths, not a universal ranking. TikTok and Instagram suit most B2C, visual-product businesses; LinkedIn fits B2B credibility and recruiting; YouTube rewards tutorials and long-form authority content; X and Facebook remain useful for real-time updates, customer service and community groups. See the platform picks above for the reasoning behind each.

Do you write and design the content, or just schedule it?

We do the full content creation — copy, graphic design and video editing — built natively for each platform, not just scheduling content the client hands us. See our content marketing and copywriting services for the standalone versions of that work.

Do you handle comments and DMs?

In our Content + Community and Full Multi-Platform tiers, yes — daily monitoring and response to comments, DMs and reviews. Our Content Foundation tier covers content creation and publishing only, without active community management.

How is this different from paid social advertising?

Social media management builds an audience and content library organically, through consistent publishing and community engagement — no ad spend involved. Paid social advertising buys reach and clicks through each platform's ad auction. They work best together: organic content proven to perform well becomes ad creative, and paid campaigns can retarget an organically engaged audience.

Do you guarantee a specific engagement rate or follower growth?

No. Engagement and growth depend on your industry, starting audience and content quality — none of which any agency controls before a project starts. What we commit to: content built on the fundamentals the data shows actually work, active community management, and honest reporting against the benchmarks on this page.

Do you manage TikTok for businesses based in India?

Not for audiences inside India — TikTok has been unavailable there since June 2020, with Indian users having largely moved to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. For clients targeting audiences outside India, we can plan and produce TikTok content as part of a broader platform mix.

How do you measure success on social media?

Engagement rate (interactions relative to followers, not raw likes), audience growth quality, and response time on comments and DMs — reported monthly against the industry benchmarks on this page, not against vanity metrics like raw post count or follower totals alone.
