Email Marketing Services
Email still returns more per rupee than any other channel — but only when it lands in the inbox, reaches the right segment, and fires automatically at the moment someone's ready to buy. We set up the list, the platform, and the flows so your email program earns that return instead of sitting in Promotions.
The four things we fix first
Most underperforming email programs share the same four gaps. The rest of the page explains how we close each one.
Since February 2024, Gmail and Yahoo reject or spam-folder mail from domains without proper authentication. If nobody's checked your SPF/DKIM/DMARC records, a share of every send is already invisible.
Automated sends earned $3.41 per email in Omnisend's 2025 dataset against $0.155 for one-off campaigns — a 22× gap — yet automation is still the exception, not the rule, on most small-business lists.
A calendar of well-segmented, well-written sends outperforms occasional blasts to the whole list. We write, design, segment, and report on every send so it doesn't depend on someone remembering to hit send.
An e-commerce store on a platform with no cart-abandonment trigger, or an Indian SMB paying US pricing for features it never uses, is fighting its own tooling. We match the platform to the business first.
Email works best alongside the channels that fill the list in the first place — see lead magnets for list-growth offers, CRM software for the customer data segmentation runs on, and marketing automation for automation that spans beyond the inbox. Where email programs actually leak revenue
The numbers below come from Google's own sender guidelines and Omnisend's 2025 dataset of 20 billion+ campaign emails across 27,000+ brands — not from our sales deck.
Deliverability rules changed in 2024, and most small lists never caught up
Since February 1, 2024, Google requires every sender of 5,000+ daily messages to Gmail accounts to authenticate with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, keep spam complaints under 0.30% (ideally under 0.10%), and support one-click unsubscribe honoured within two days. Yahoo enforces equivalent rules. Below that volume threshold, SPF or DKIM alone is still required for every sender.
The trap: a domain that "used to" land in the inbox can start silently landing in spam the moment a DNS record lapses or a new ESP is added without updating SPF — with no error message, just a slow decline in opens nobody notices for weeks.
We audit DNS authentication, Google Postmaster Tools reputation, and unsubscribe handling before touching a single subject line, because no amount of good copywriting fixes a domain that's already flagged.
Automation sits unused while campaigns do all the work
Omnisend's 2025 dataset shows automated emails converting at 1.49% against 0.08% for campaign sends — roughly 19× higher — and earning $3.41 per email against $0.155, a 22× revenue gap. Inside that automation category, a back-in-stock alert earned $9.14 per email and a welcome series $6.16, yet Omnisend found only 0.6% of brands in its dataset even had a back-in-stock flow running.
Most small-business lists still run on manual newsletters alone. The welcome email a new subscriber never got, the cart nobody followed up on, the customer who went quiet for six months with no re-engagement flow — each is a specific, measurable gap, not a vague "we should do more automation" problem.
One list, one message, and a benchmark that doesn't apply to you
Open-rate benchmarks vary enormously by category — Omnisend's 2025 data shows Wedding-sector campaigns opening at 52.43% against 19.27% for Smoking & Vaping, with "Overall" sitting at 30.22%. A single blanket send to your whole list averages across buyers, browsers, and people who signed up for a discount code eighteen months ago and never opened again.
Since Apple's Mail Privacy Protection can pre-load tracking pixels and inflate reported opens, click-to-open rate (clicks divided by opens, not sends) is the more honest signal in 2026. Segmentation — by purchase history, engagement recency, or source — is what turns one broadcast into messages that actually match where each subscriber is.
The platform doesn't match the business
Zoho Campaigns' free plan covers 2,000 contacts and 6,000 emails a month with no automation, which is fine for a newsletter and wrong for a store that needs cart-recovery flows. Klaviyo's e-commerce integrations and behavioural triggers are built for exactly that case but add cost a pure content newsletter doesn't need. Brevo bundles email with SMS and WhatsApp for teams that want one inbox for every channel. None of these is universally "best" — see our full comparison in 15 best email marketing software for business automation.
We pick the platform from the business model and the automation you actually need, then handle migration so historical data and segments survive the move.

Email Deliverability & List Audit
A full check of authentication, sender reputation, and list health against Google and Yahoo's current requirements.
We review your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, Google Postmaster Tools reputation, unsubscribe handling, and list hygiene (bounces, spam-trap risk, and long-dormant subscribers), then hand over a prioritised fix list ranked by how much inbox placement each item is likely costing you.
What you get
Full DNS authentication review (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), Postmaster Tools and sender-reputation check, ESP configuration review, list hygiene audit, one-click unsubscribe compliance check, and a prioritised roadmap you or your developer can action.
What it's not
It's not campaign writing or automation build — the audit tells you what's broken and why, not the content itself. Many clients fix DNS records in-house from the roadmap and continue with us into Managed Campaigns; others don't need to.
Best for: businesses whose open rates have quietly dropped, anyone migrating email service providers, and lists that have never had authentication set up at all.
Managed Campaigns
A monthly calendar of segmented, tested, and reported email campaigns — written, designed, and sent.
We plan the send calendar, write and design each campaign, segment the list so it isn't one message to everyone, run subject-line A/B tests, and report against opens, clicks, and click-to-open rate every month. Copy and design draw on the same team behind our copywriting and content marketing work, so email stays consistent with everything else you publish.
What you get
Monthly content calendar, copywriting and template design, list segmentation, A/B subject-line testing, deliverability monitoring, and a monthly performance report benchmarked against your industry.
What it's not
Not behavioural automation — welcome series and cart-recovery flows that fire on subscriber actions live in the Lifecycle Automation Retainer. And not a one-off blast service: campaigns are planned against a calendar, not requested ad hoc.
Best for: businesses with an engaged list that want consistent, well-written sends without hiring an in-house copywriter, designer, and list manager.
Lifecycle Automation Retainer
Welcome, cart-recovery, and win-back flows built once and optimised continuously against your own baseline.
Automated sends outperform one-off campaigns by a wide margin — Omnisend's 2025 data puts revenue per email at 22× higher — because they reach someone at the moment they signed up, abandoned a cart, or went quiet, rather than whenever a newsletter happens to land. We design, build, and continuously tune these flows on your platform of choice, and where the store is on Shopify or WooCommerce we coordinate directly with our Shopify and e-commerce development teams so triggers fire off real order and cart data.
What you get
Welcome series, cart/browse-abandonment flows, post-purchase and win-back sequences, platform setup or migration, and monthly experiment reporting with revenue attributed per flow — not just opens and clicks.
What it's not
Not worth building for a list under a few hundred engaged subscribers — flows need volume to reach meaningful revenue and to A/B test reliably. Very small lists get more value from the Managed Campaigns tier first, and we'll say so rather than sell a build that won't pay for itself yet.
Best for: e-commerce stores, subscription and service businesses with renewal cycles, and any list large enough that "everyone gets the same email" is already leaving money on the table.
How an engagement runs
The same sequence every time: fix the pipes before worrying about what flows through them.
- Scoping call (free). We look at your current platform, list size, send history, and goals, and tell you honestly which tier fits — or whether email is even your bottleneck right now.
- Deliverability baseline. SPF/DKIM/DMARC check, Postmaster Tools reputation, spam-complaint rate, and current open/click/click-to-open numbers, recorded before we change anything.
- Platform & list hygiene. Confirm the right ESP for your business model, migrate if needed, and clean bounces, spam-trap risks, and long-dormant contacts out of the list.
- Segmentation & flow design. Group the list by behaviour and lifecycle stage, then map which messages are campaigns and which are automated triggers.
- Build and send. Copy, design, and automation logic go live; every meaningful change is A/B tested rather than assumed to work.
- Report against baseline. The numbers from step 2, revisited monthly — what moved, what didn't, and what we'd try next.
How we measure — and what we won't claim
Email marketing attracts inflated promises. Here's where we stand.
- Benchmarks come from published data, not our sales deck. The figures on this page are Litmus/Validity's ROI research and Omnisend's 2025 dataset of 20 billion+ emails, plus Google's own sender guidelines — all linked in the sources below and verified 2 August 2026.
- We don't promise a specific open or click rate. Omnisend's own data shows open rates ranging from 52.43% for wedding-related sends to 19.27% for the lowest category — "industry average" is a starting point, not a target we can guarantee for your list.
- We follow Google and Yahoo's bulk-sender rules as the floor, not the ceiling. Meeting the minimum keeps you out of spam; growing the list and content quality is what grows the number after that.
- We separate correlation from causation. A revenue spike during a festival sale isn't proof an automation flow is working — we compare against holdout segments and your own baseline, not a single good week.
- We'll tell you when email isn't the constraint. If the list is too small or too cold to justify automation yet, we'll say so and point you toward lead magnets or SEO for small business to grow it first, rather than sell a build that won't pay back.
Frequently asked questions
What do your email marketing services actually include?
Depending on the tier, it spans deliverability and authentication setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), list hygiene and segmentation, campaign copywriting and design, subject-line testing, and behavioural automation such as welcome series and cart-recovery flows. We scope the exact mix on the free call, then quote a fixed price or monthly retainer based on what your list and platform actually need.
Why not just use Mailchimp or Zoho Campaigns ourselves?
The tools are rarely the bottleneck — the strategy behind them is. Anyone can create an account and send a newsletter; fewer teams have time to audit DNS authentication, build behaviour-triggered flows, segment a list properly, and test what actually moves opens and clicks. We often work inside the platform you already have rather than moving you to a new one, unless the audit shows the platform itself is the constraint.
Which email marketing platform should I use?
It depends on the business. Zoho Campaigns' free plan (2,000 contacts, 6,000 emails a month) suits a simple newsletter on a budget; Klaviyo's e-commerce integrations suit stores that need cart-abandonment and purchase-based triggers; Brevo suits teams that want email, SMS, and WhatsApp in one inbox; Mailchimp remains a solid all-rounder for businesses already inside its ecosystem. See our detailed breakdown in 15 best email marketing software for business automation, or we'll recommend one directly on the scoping call.
How long before we see results?
Deliverability fixes can show up within days — correcting a broken SPF record can measurably lift inbox placement almost immediately. Campaign and segmentation improvements typically show in the first one to two monthly sends. Automation flows take longer to prove out, generally four to eight weeks, because they need enough triggered volume (new sign-ups, abandoned carts) to read the results reliably.
What does email marketing cost?
We quote after the free scoping call because scope varies by list size, platform, and how much automation is involved — a 500-contact newsletter and a 50,000-contact e-commerce list are different jobs. The Deliverability & List Audit is the smallest fixed-scope engagement and the usual entry point; Managed Campaigns and the Lifecycle Automation Retainer are monthly retainers priced from what the audit finds.
Do you guarantee specific open or click rates?
No — and we'd be cautious of anyone who does. Omnisend's own 2025 data shows open rates varying from roughly 19% to 52% depending on category, so "the industry average" isn't a number any single list is guaranteed to hit. What we commit to is authentication that meets Google and Yahoo's current requirements, segmentation and testing grounded in your own data, and honest monthly reporting against the baseline we agree upfront.
Is my list too small for automation?
Possibly, for now. Flows like welcome series and cart recovery need a reasonable volume of new sign-ups or carts each month to generate meaningful revenue and to A/B test reliably — a list of a few dozen contacts won't produce that volume. Below that point, the Deliverability & List Audit or Managed Campaigns tier is the better starting move, often paired with lead magnets to grow the list faster.
Our emails keep landing in spam. Can you fix that?
Usually, yes, if the cause is fixable — missing or misconfigured SPF/DKIM/DMARC records, a poor sender reputation from past bulk sends, or a list full of stale addresses are all correctable. The Deliverability & List Audit is built specifically to diagnose this: we check your DNS records, Google Postmaster Tools data, and complaint rate against the current 0.30% threshold, then fix what's broken before any campaign work resumes.
